Scope
Application to apparatus liable to cause electromagnetic disturbance or whose performance may be affected by such disturbance, defined as "apparatus": "all electrical and electronic appliances together with equipment and installations containing electrical and / or electronic".
Exceptions This Directive does not cover radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment as they are regulated by Directive 1999/5/EC.
Application excludes radio equipment used by radio amateurs unless such equipment is commercially available.
Do not apply this policy to the extent that the protection requirements laid down in this Directive are harmonized by specific directives for certain devices..
